Retirees of Worcester's AstraZeneca, Saint Gobain (frmr Norton Co.) Post-Employment Cancer Victims?

We are provided a steady diet of 'noise' about what is happening everywhere else in the State, Nation and world that is heart-wrenching, unjust, uncivilized treatment of indigenous populations in emerging nation-states, et cetera. Instead of 'filler-feed' to distract inhabitants of the viewing area(s) from the information/news related to how they are being treated by their bodies politic.
Saint Gobain has been noted as the largest methanol polluter in this City. What is methanol, you ask? Methanol is a deadly caustic chemical that is destroying the cell tissue in the employees that are exposed to it because they pass through/by areas where this material is being used but because they are not directly handling it, OSHA's rules (I'm reaching out here a bit to err on the side of the employer) don't cover this type of employee, or it does and they just weren't provided the right type of protective mask to use while passing through in the fulfillment of Quality Assurance or QM functions.

Our American Dream Foreclosed

As collateral damage to the manufactured, thence criminal, real estate bubble and subsequent collapse of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, I have a special perspective to offer that will enlighten non-European and newer immigrants who have or are experiencing the travails of Wall Street's fleecing of the populist.

The lawyer we trusted was our closing attorney for the transaction which was the purchase of our own home instead of paying 30% of our income to a property management company and having nothing to show for it as a disabled couple with an adolescent in school in the former Gateway City of Worcester, MA.

Turns out, our so-called attorney was actually working 75% (100% actually) for the crooks that were Taylor Bean Whitaker and CitiCorp, Inc. CitiCorp, Inc. has a deep and complex relationship with our national government. One that has been long-standing.

We were made to pay for everyone's professional services (including the buyer's counsel), added on esoteric costs e.g. Certificate of Title, which we've never seen and so on. But the greatest trespass was Joseph Jenkins' making us wait one hour past the appointment time after I'd crutched up two flights of long/wide stairs to his office, while suffering with untenable pain from my right hip (it was being replaced in 3 months) and I was still recovering my 3rd THR/revision on my left hip. Sitting, standing or walking was not something that I could tolerate well but under the circumstances, and given my extremely high tolerance for pain, I hung in there because this was so important to me and my family.

I was living in a 3rd floor walk-up (crutching up and down for two years, winters included) one bedroom apartment. My daughter's room had no window but it did have a closet. The apartment was too small for all of us once Jim & I wed in March 2005.

We hired a buyer's agent - Mark Cashman of Parent Prudential Associates; we hired the lawyer that our mortgage broker John Montalvo recommended; we hired the Home Inspector that Mark Cashman recommended, we did everything we thought professional, fiduciary persons told us to do to protect ourselves from getting ripped off. We discovered they were the very ones that were ripping us off.

Twenty years is the statute of limitations for filing a claim against a lawyer for legal malpractice. Now our problem is that after having paid two Worcester lawyers to protect what remained of our assets/cash/wealth and getting ripped off, we can not find a lawyer willing to take on this politically hot family that took our $30K down payment and sold us a money pit that the City of Worcester should have had on its radar as a condemnable single family in this exclusively Jewish & Greek working class neighborhood.

I'm all better now from my botched right hip replacement and my bi-polar disorder is being managed very well. I am an intense gifted adult who sometimes appears to be moody, maybe to some, downright angry.
If you've endured the humiliation and ostracizing that I have in this community of racists (Black and White folks alike) you'd have a better understanding of why I am the way I am. I know of too much criminal/banal activity on the part of the City's leadership and their political hacks not to be.

I'm sharing this because I want someone out there who is suffering the same experience to know that you should not give up. Hang in there like a Rottweiler until you find the progressive legal advocate you and I need.

Worcester is not home to Blacks as the 'walking dead' or zombies as some have labeled us. We all reap what we have sown to be certain.

Namaste.
